Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager Procurement to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in supporting the procurement function, ensuring the timely acquisition of high-quality materials and products while maintaining cost efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the home furnishings industry.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and secure favorable terms.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast material requirements to ensure timely availability.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their offerings.
  • Analyze procurement data and prepare reports to support decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Assist in managing supplier relationships and performance evaluations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, design, and logistics.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement best practices in procurement processes.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments that may impact procurement activities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in the home furnishings sector.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
