Job Responsibilities:
· Design, execute & document test plans based upon software requirements and technical specifications. Record results and compare with expected ones
· Grab good product knowledge to be the first point of contact for clients for issues concerning computer systems and equipment
· Keep track of users’ system issues till resolution by adhering to the agreed timelines
· To resolve complex problems, engineers interact with clients and provide unambiguously written instructions or technical manuals
· Maintain procedural documents and reports
· Follow standard procedures of the organization to resolve issues
· Ensure proper logging of all issues
· Document technical knowledge in the knowledge database
· To create meaningful error handling procedures for application code
· Draft quality assurance policies and procedures when needed
· Interpret and implement quality assurance standards
· Evaluate the adequacy of existing quality assurance standards and improve where needed
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in CS, SE, IT, or another related discipline
· Understanding of SDLC, STLC & SQL
· Experience working with different operating systems (Windows, Mac OS)
· Extensive understanding of computer systems, networks, mobile devices, and other technological equipment
Knowledge of scripting languages (Perl, Python or BASH), among others will be a plus
