Job Summary:
The Civil Engineer will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role requires a strong background in civil engineering principles, project management, and design or drafting experience. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineers to deliver high-quality infrastructure and construction solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and review civil engineering designs and drafts for various projects, including roads, bridges, buildings, and utilities.
• Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and construction plans using drafting software (e.g., Auto CAD, Civil 3D).
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions and project planning.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and clients, to ensure project requirements and specifications are met.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve design and construction issues, providing technical support as needed.
• Prepare and present project reports, documentation, and proposals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in civil engineering design and drafting.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., Auto CAD, Civil 3D).
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and environmental standards.
