JOB ROLE: Clinical Psychologist
COMPANY DESCRIPTION:
Biopharma Informatics (BI) headquartered in US, has launched a health management company, Bio Informatic Child Preventive Health Services (BICPHS) in Pakistan, committed to providing quality preventive healthcare to students. Employing a holistic approach, BICPHS conducts comprehensive screenings covering 60+ health variables in schools, with a focus on early detection and intervention for a healthier generation. In its past engagements, this program has impacted 40,000+ students in Karachi, collaborating with schools like Habib Girls School and CAA Model School to foster a culture of holistic well-being.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct student assessments and screenings, to identify psychosocial, developmental, learning and behavioral issues in a child.
• Perform evaluations and follow-ups of screened or reported students, as warranted.
• Deliver group and individual therapy sessions as indicated.
• Counsel students & communicates with and counsels parents/guardians, as appropriate, in clear, understandable language, attending to cultural sensitivity.
• Responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of preventive mental health services in schools.
• Conduct training of professionals and staff, as required.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, as part of the multi-disciplinary team, to provide holistic care to students.
• Provide documentation and need based referrals of students for further evaluation.
• Conduct workshops and awareness sessions to educate the students, parents & staff on common mental health issues, parenting skills, learning strategies, substance abuse and other topics pertinent to healthy psychosocial development of students.
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
• Ensure and maintain confidentiality of all records.
• Make reports to document students’ progress.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology
• Master’s or M.Phil. degree in Clinical Psychology or Child & Adolescence Psychology.
• At least 3 + years of clinical experience
• Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations and patient assessments.
• Keeps up to date with latest diagnostics and clinical practices.
• Driven to take initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
