Our mission is to make a meaningful impact through community engagement, awareness, and support. To expand our reach and impact, we’re looking for a skilled Internet & Digital Engagement Specialist to drive our online presence and foster connections with supporters, volunteers, and donors.
Role Overview:
The Internet & Digital Engagement Specialist will lead our online efforts, from social media campaigns to website management and digital marketing and calling to our potential donors . This role is ideal for someone with a creative, strategic mindset and a passion for charity work, eager to amplify our message, grow our online community, and support our mission.
Key Responsibilities:

• Digital Strategy & Execution: Develop, execute, and refine a digital engagement strategy to expand our online presence and drive awareness.
• Social Media Management: Manage our social media profiles (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linked In, etc.), creating and scheduling engaging posts, stories, and multimedia content to inspire and inform.
• Content Creation: Write and edit compelling content for blogs, newsletters, social media, and our website.
• Website Management: Maintain and update website content, ensuring an optimized user experience and SEO-friendly layout.
• Digital Campaigns & Fundraising: Design and manage online fundraising and awareness campaigns. Track engagement and fundraising outcomes, using data to improve efforts.
• Community Engagement: Engage with our online audience, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries. Build relationships with donors, supporters, and volunteers through meaningful interactions.
• Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key metrics, providing insights and recommendations to optimize engagement efforts.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in digital marketing, social media management, or similar roles.
• Passion for charity work and commitment to our mission.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong understanding of SEO, content strategy, and digital analytics.
• Proficiency with social media platforms and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Hootsuite).
• Experience with website management (Word Press, Squarespace, or similar CMS).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with excellent organizational skills.
