Pak Mission Society (PMS) is a national relief and development organization established in 2004 and registered on 13 February 2008 under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 at the Office of the Provincial Registrar Joint Stock Companies & Societies, Peshawar, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
Pak Mission Society was initiated by a group of Christian professionals whose collective vision was to bring hope and love by responding to human suffering and disasters through emergency relief efforts and delivering long-term rehabilitation and development programs.
Pak Mission Society was established to reach and serve unreached and underprivileged communities regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, class, religion, and social background.
The organization aims to catalyse holistic transformation and development through relationships based on dignity and respect and the transparent, fair, rights-based allocation of relief and development resources.
Since its inception, Pak Mission Society (PMS) has focused on working with communities in Pakistan’s most difficult-to-access and impoverished areas such as District Kohistan and District Shangla in the north of Pakistan, District Sanghar in Sindh, District Rajanpur in Punjab, District Peshawar in KP and District Lasbella in Balochistan.

About the role:
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our communication team. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and impactful visual designs that help promote our organization's mission, initiatives, and campaigns. You will work closely with Senior Graphic Designer to develop designs for digital and print media, such as social media, website, brochures, flyers, magazines, and other communication materials. The ideal candidate should have a passion for social causes and be able to produce designs that inspire, inform, and motivate our target audience.
Your impactful goals will include:

• Coordination with project managers to discuss design objectives and requirements.
• Develop designs for various projects, and events such as advertisements, brochures, magazines, newsletters, and organizational reports.
• Developing and presenting design concepts.
• Creating designs using graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and In Design.
• Maintaining the branding colors, typography, and layout for each design project as per organizational branding guidelines.
• Working with Senior Graphic Designer, content writer, and Mar Com Manager to develop IEC material.
• Ensuring that designs meet technical specifications and are ready for production.
• Staying up-to-date with design trends and best practices.
• Managing multiple design projects simultaneously and meeting project deadlines.

What we are looking for:
Education & Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree
• Diploma in graphic design, or a relevant field/certificate program.

Work Experience

• 2 to 3 years of experience in graphic design related fields.
  

Functional Competencies/Skills

• Proficiency in graphic design software: Must have excellent skills in software programs like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, and other industry-standard graphic design software.
• Understanding of design principles: Must have an understanding of branding colours, typography, composition, layout, and other design principles to create visually appealing and effective designs.
• Creativity: Must be able to think creatively to come up with innovative ideas and designs that meet the project/s needs.
• Communication skills: Must have excellent communication skills to understand project requirements, take feedback and provide feedback and explain design concepts to non-designers.
• Attention to detail: Must be detail-oriented to ensure that his/her designs are error-free and consistent with the organizational branding.
• Time management skills: Must be able to manage his/her time effectively to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Adaptability: Must be able to adapt to changing project requirements, supervisor’s feedback, and market trends.
• Knowledge of print production: Knowledge of print production, including an understanding of different file formats, colour management, and pre-press procedures is a plus.
