Invitation to Bit (ITB) for Aawaz II Programme Video Making

Peace and Justice Network (PJN) Pakistan is seeking ITB from a service provider firm/ Individual consultant to develop Aawaz II Program Overview Video.
The consultant will closely work with the PJN program team to develop video as per PJN's Coms Guidelines.

1 Concept Note: Aawaz II Program Overview Video
1.1 Objective
Develop a visually engaging 5-6 minute video summarizing Aawaz II programmatic achievements and lessons learned throughout the year. The video should be informative and provide a clear overview of the programme's impact. The video will utilise infographics and statistics, with some real video footage. It will be used to introduce the program to audiences at various events throughout the year.
1.2 Target Audience

• Government officials
• Civil society organizations
• FCDO, British Council, British High Commission
• Members of the media

1.3 Key Messages

• Aawaz II core objectives and achievements
• The programme's impact on communities
• The collaborative approach adopted by Aawaz II
• The programme's commitment to sustainability

1.4 Visual Elements

• Infographics and statistics: Present key data points in a visually appealing manner.
• Graphics and animations: Use engaging visuals to illustrate programme activities and outcomes.
• Community footage: Include short clips of Aawaz II work in various communities (wherever possible and will be kept at a minimum).
• Branding: Aawaz II branding and colours.

1.5 Script Outline

• Introduction: Briefly introduce Aawaz II and its objectives.
• Key Aspects: Discuss the programme's key thematic areas: addressing CM, GBV & social inclusion through community engagement.
• Program Highlights: Showcase key achievements and impact through infographics and statistics.
• Community Impact: Use footage and testimonials to highlight the positive changes Aawaz II has brought to communities. (get actual video footage for this)
• Collaboration: Emphasize the collaborative approach adopted by Aawaz II and its partners. (a government officer ideally)
• Sustainability: Discuss the programme's commitment to long-term impact and sustainability.
• Conclusion: Reiterate the main messages.

1.6 Field Visit for Video Making

• The selected Firm will visit one district in Punjab (Khanewal) and one district in KP (Abbottabad/Nowshera) for field recording.

2 Scope of Work
2.1 Concept Development:

• Develop a creative concept for the video that aligns with the Aawaz II programme's goals and messaging.

• Create a storyboard outlining the video's structure, visuals, and narrative in consultation with PMU.

• Develop a script with support from PMU that effectively conveys the key messages and highlights of the program.

2.2 Visual Design:

• Design engaging infographics and statistics to present key data points in a visually appealing manner.

• Create custom graphics and animations to illustrate program activities and outcomes.

• Ensure consistent branding and use of Aawaz II branding guidelines throughout the video.

2.3 Video Production:

• Shoot necessary footage in Punjab and KP, focusing on community engagement work, youth volunteer activities, and GBV and child marriage initiatives.

• Incorporate existing footage from the field wherever possible/required.

• Edit the video to match the storyboard and script, ensuring a smooth flow and engaging narrative voice over.

• Add appropriate sound effects and uplifting music to enhance the storytelling experience.

• Subtitles in English for any testimonials to be included

• Stitch together a series of short video clips provided by PMU (approx. 30 seconds each) from the field as a separate video. No additional content will be produced for this task.

3 Key Deliverables


4 Timeline

• Concept development and storyboard: 1 week
• Visual design and creation: 1 week
• Video production and editing: 1 week
• Final delivery of overall video: 10th November 2024
