We’re looking for an experienced Night Shift Production Manager with at least 5 years of experience in the PVC industry, to manage production operations at our Sundar Industrial Estate facility in Lahore, Pakistan.
Position Details:
- Job Title: Night Shift Production Manager - PVC Industry
- Location: Sundar Industrial Estate, Lahore, Pakistan
- Salary Range: 60,000 to 85,000 PKR per month (with incentives based on achieving production targets)
- Work Style: Onsite + Night Shift
- Working Days: Mon-Sat
- Work Timings: 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM (with the possibility of overtime based on production needs)
About the Role:
This position plays a crucial role in managing night shift operations in our PVC manufacturing plant, ensuring optimal production efficiency, maintaining safety standards, and meeting production targets. You will lead a team, resolve operational issues, and ensure a smooth handover between shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage night shift operations for the production of PVC products, ensuring high-quality output.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise the production team during night shifts to meet daily production targets.
- Ensure production schedules are followed, resolving issues promptly to avoid downtime.
- Monitor the use of equipment and resources for optimal efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the day shift teams to ensure smooth handover and continuity between shifts.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company and industry standards.
- Prepare and submit nightly production reports to senior management.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to avoid delays and waste.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products during night shifts.
- Ensure all maintenance and cleaning tasks are completed as per schedule.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the PVC or plastic manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of PVC production processes, machinery, and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and manage a team during night shifts.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in production management software and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards in the manufacturing industry.
