We are seeking a Project and Asset Department Assistant to join our dynamic remote team. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, technical aptitude, and a proactive approach to improving processes.
Key Responsibilities:

• Policy Development:
• Draft, review, and update clear and concise operational procedures, policies, and guidelines.
• Project Support:
• Assist in planning and managing projects to ensure timely and efficient completion.
• Interpret technical drawings and utilize them to support operational needs.
• Asset Management:
• Coordinate maintenance and repair schedules for assets.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors on maintenance, repair, and construction projects.
• Documentation and Guides:
• Develop user-friendly troubleshooting guides for common issues.
• Operational Assistance:
• Provide solutions to day-to-day challenges faced by staff.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses to aid decision-making.
• Communication and Collaboration:
• Effectively communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders to streamline operations.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement innovative solutions.

Key Qualifications:

• Writing Skills: Expertise in drafting clear procedures, policies, and technical documents.
• Technical Knowledge: Ability to interpret and work with technical drawings and equipment specifications.
• Project Management: Proven experience managing projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Problem-Solving: Proactive and creative in addressing challenges.
• Independence: Self-starter capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Communication: Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written skills.
• Vendor Coordination: Experience liaising with contractors and suppliers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with restaurant construction processes.
• Basic knowledge of restaurant equipment maintenance, especially refrigeration.
• Experience managing operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
