Job Title: Project Manager - Infrastructure Works (Roads & Bridges)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Project Manager - Infrastructure Works with a strong background in Civil Engineering to lead and oversee road and bridge projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of infrastructure projects, from planning to execution, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. Registration with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Management: Lead project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure phases. Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Roads & Bridges Expertise: Apply extensive knowledge and experience in the design, construction, and maintenance of roads and bridges to ensure the successful execution of infrastructure projects.
• Budgeting & Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources while maintaining quality and compliance with standards.
• Team Leadership: Manage project teams, including engineers, contractors, and site staff. Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact between clients, regulatory bodies, contractors, and internal teams. Ensure clear communication and resolution of issues.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Project Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, technical documentation, and contractual agreements.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality and technical standards of the projects meet PEC and international standards for civil engineering works.
• Compliance & Regulatory Requirements: Ensure all project activities comply with national and regional infrastructure development laws, especially in regard to roads and bridges.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC).
• 10+ years of proven experience in infrastructure development, with a focus on roads and bridges projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP/Prince2 certification is a plus).
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of local infrastructure regulations and guidelines.
• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects in Pakistan or similar regions.
• Familiarity with environmental impact assessments and sustainability practices in civil engineering.
