Tendering & Contract Specialist (Solar Projects)

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Tendering & Contract Specialist to join our team in the industrial products division (Solar)industry. This role involves managing the tendering process, preparing technical and financial proposals, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar project design and tendering, with expertise in handling voltage levels up to 11k V or more, financial analysis, and experience in both rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects.
Key Responsibilities:

• Tender Preparation and Submission:
• Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals for solar projects, ensuring compliance with client specifications and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather required information and develop competitive proposals.
• Project Design & Technical Expertise:
• Lead the design phase of solar projects up to 11k V voltage levels or more, ensuring optimal system configurations and project specifications.
• Provide technical insights for rooftop and ground-mounted solar installations and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects.
• Financial Analysis:
• Conduct project financial evaluations, including calculations for Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Net Present Value (NPV), and other key financial metrics.
• Support the development of pricing strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness and competitive proposals.
• Contract Management:
• Review and negotiate contracts related to tendering and project execution.
• Ensure that all contractual obligations are met and address any arising issues promptly.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in solar project design and tendering.
• Proven experience working with voltage levels up to 11k V or more.
• Strong understanding of project financials, including IRR, NPV, and other financial metrics.
• Hands-on experience with both rooftop and ground-mounted solar installations, as well as Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in relevant design and financial analysis software.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
