Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Prep & Paint Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in grinding, painting, and performing detailed quality inspections to ensure vehicle parts meet industry standards. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of bodywork techniques, and the ability to work with large vehicles.
Duties
- Inspect truck axles for paint chips or defects
- Use angle grinders, sanders, and other power tools to smooth and prepare surfaces for painting
- Conduct auto painting with can spray paint
- Conduct thorough inspections of heavy duty axels to ensure painting standards are met
Requirements
-Proven experience as a Prep and Paint Technician, specifically with heavy-duty vehicles
-Expertise in grinding, sanding, and surface preparation techniques
-Proficiency in automotive painting and refinishing processes
-Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
-Familiarity with body repair tools and equipment
-Ability to perform quality inspections and ensure adherence to specifications
-Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
-Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy parts and tools
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed
