Night Auditor

Job Title: Night Auditor
Department: Front Desk
Reports To: Front Desk Manager
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Summary:
The Night Auditor is responsible for balancing the hotel's accounts and preparing financial reports for the following day. They must be able to work independently and follow strict procedures. They must also be able to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
Please note this location is not yet open so some help with setting up and being flexible is required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Balance the hotel's accounts for the day.
Prepare financial reports for the following day.
Audit room rates, taxes, and other charges.
Reconcile cash and credit card transactions.
Post all transactions to the hotel's accounting system.
Prepare night audit reports for management.
Resolve any discrepancies in the accounts.
Assist front desk staff with check-in and check-out procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
1+ years of experience in a hotel night audit role
Strong accounting and financial analysis skills
Ability to work independently and follow strict procedures.
Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
Excellent attention to detail

Shifts/Hours:

Night: 11:00 pm – 7:00 am

Compensation and Benefits:

Weekly pay and benefits package, including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, and more.

Additional Information:
This position is full-time and may require evening and weekend work.
