• Prompts, re-directs, or de-escalates student behavior based on the principles of ABA
• Follows students Behavior Intervention Plans and student goals under the supervisors direction
• Instruct students in proper classroom procedures and behavior
• Communicates and collaborates effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff on a regular basis regarding student progress.
• Follow student Behavior plans and collaborate with teachers regarding student needs
• Implement, monitor, and document behavior support and intervention plans under the supervisors direction
• Transitions and assists students to and from various rooms and buildings on school property while maintaining a clean and orderly environment
• Obtains and maintains certifications as required for position and participates in required training and professional development
• Maintains confidentiality of students and student records, and materials
• Assist teacher with preparations of instructional material, assessments and other clerical duties as instructed by the teacher
• Perform recordkeeping duties associated with the classroom including attendance and grade calculation and performs other related duties as assigned by the classroom teacher
• Adapt instructional materials as necessary to meet special education guidelines under the teacher’s direction

• Enroll in our company provided Paraprofessional certification course at no cost to you or provide a current paraprofessional certification
• Must pass a Background check as required for employment
• Must have a clean criminal record
• Must have some college
• Must have a valid driver license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to work with a team and individually
• Must have strong communication skills
