Forge Forward is searching for System Administrators for our Panama City Beach, FL office.
Position requires a minimum one (1) year experience in system administration (e.g., Windows or Linux operating systems) and help desk support. Will provide remote help desk support via telephone or remote administration to technicians in the field and manage and update the trouble ticket database. Must have the ability to resolve trouble tickets without escalation. Must be self-motivated with attitude for continuous learning and current knowledge of new technology. Familiarity with the OSI model and leveraging knowledge to translate in to troubleshooting concepts. Ability to work with other teams to troubleshoot and resolve layered issues. Additional related duties may be assigned.
Functional Skills and Responsibilities:

• Strong written and oral communication, organizational, research, and interpersonal skills are required.
• Demonstrated typing proficiency and expert knowledge of MS Office suite, MS Visio, and Adobe Acrobat Professional.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, consistency, and clarity in conformance with required formats and standards.
• Ability to work effectively in both a team environment and individually.

Requirements:

• AA/AS technical degree or BS preferred
• Comp TIA Security+ or equivalent required
• Ability to obtain an Operating System Certificate (e.g., Linux+, Windows Server, CCNA, etc.)
• Must be US Citizen and have ability to obtain a SECRET clearance. Existing clearances preferred.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with Navy and Joint networking architectures.
