Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable Assistant is responsible for managing and processing all invoices and payments for the company. This role ensures that all financial transactions are accurate, timely, and compliant with company policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner.
- Verify and reconcile supplier statements with company records.
- Maintain organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding payment status, discrepancies, and other related issues.
- Prepare and process payment vouchers and ensure that all supporting documents are complete.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up-to-date and within terms.
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including the preparation of accounts payable reports.
- Collaborate with the Finance Manager to improve accounts payable processes and systems.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an accounts payable or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Pay: Php16,770.00 - Php18,000.00 per month
