Job Description:
S&J Jewelry Philippines is looking for a skilled CAD Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating intricate 3D jewelry designs using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, bringing creative visions to life. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and a strong understanding of jewelry craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- 3D Jewelry Design: Create detailed 3D models of jewelry pieces, including rings, earrings, necklaces, and custom designs, ensuring accuracy and design feasibility.
- Collaborate with Designers: Work closely with the design team to transform sketches, concepts, and customer requests into precise CAD models ready for production.
- Technical Drawings: Produce technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing, including material specifications, stone settings, and dimensions.
- Prototyping: Generate CAD files for 3D printing or other prototyping processes, working with the production team to ensure designs meet technical requirements.
- Stay Updated on Trends: Keep up with the latest jewelry design trends, materials, and manufacturing techniques to continually innovate and improve designs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CAD Designer, preferably in the jewelry industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Matrix, Jewel CAD).
- Strong understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes, materials, and techniques.
- Attention to detail, especially in designing intricate patterns and settings.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred:
- Experience with 3D printing and prototyping technologies.
- Knowledge of gemstone settings and various types of metalwork.
