Responsibilities
- Cashier is directly reporting to organic accounting.
- Responsible in monitoring daily transaction, updating the system, securing the deposit of declared sales and daily sending of sales report to Consignment Accounting and Administrative (if with consignment arrangement) and organic accounting.
- Welcoming customers, answering their questions, helping them locate items, and providing advice or recommendations.
- Operating card terminals/scanners, scales, cash registers, and other electronics.
- Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
- Preparation of accurate deposit slip for deposit to the bank and submitting the copy of validated deposit slip to organic accounting.
- Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and providing a receipt to every customer. Giving of accurate change to clients.
- Processing refunds and exchanges, resolving complaints.
- Following all store procedures regarding discounting and etc. for the purchase of specific items.
- Should monitor the availability of Receipts and must request to accounting for availability before running out of available copies.
- Must report all irregularities encountered and concerns within the scope of work to the OIC and Organic accounting.
- Should maintain organize work place by regularly filing of paper documents and maintaining the cleanliness.
- Responsible for the submission of stocks replenishment request in close coordination with the inventory clerk and the branch OIC.
- Responsible to submit daily sales report to consignment and organic accounting.
- Responsible to submit all physical reports to the head office that are required by organic accounting
- Candidate must possess at least Vocational Diploma or Short Course Certificate or finished at least two (2) years in College
- Customer service or Cashier experience.
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
- High level of energy with strong customer service skills.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Ability to stand, walk and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment to provide excellent service.
- Attention to detail.
- Helpful, courteous approach to resolving complaints.
- Must be knowledgeable about basic MS Excel and Word.
- Knowledge how to operate printer, scanner, fax and credit card terminal is an advantage.
Pay: From Php16,000.00 per month
