Job requirements:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in loan processing, mortgage, or financial services.
- Skills: Strong understanding of loan application processes and documentation requirements.
- Familiarity with loan refixing processes is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain loan terms and processes clearly to clients.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail with strong organizational skills, ensuring accuracy in document preparation and compliance.
- Collect, review, and verify loan applications and supporting documentation from clients.
- Ensure all loan applications comply with company policies, industry regulations, and lender requirements.
- Communicate with borrowers to clarify discrepancies, request additional information, and provide updates on the status of their application.
- Manage the loan refixing process, including interest rate adjustments and term renewals.
- Liaise with lenders and clients to ensure smooth loan refixing procedures.
- Monitor and notify clients of upcoming refix opportunities and interest rate changes, providing guidance on options.
- Prepare loan application packages and submit them to lenders for approval.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted within specified timelines.
- Track the status of each loan application and follow up with lenders as needed to ensure timely processing.
- Perform administrative duties related to loan processing, including filing, data entry, and updating client records.
- Handle ad-hoc tasks and special projects as needed to support the loan processing team.
