What we’re looking for:

We are looking for a highly motivated Offensive Security Engineer to join our cybersecurity team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security threats to our client’s systems and networks. As a Junior Penetration Tester, you will work under the guidance of a senior offensive security engineer to learn and develop skills in testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.

We are looking for a highly motivated Offensive Security Engineer to join our cybersecurity team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security threats to our client’s systems and networks. As a Junior Penetration Tester, you will work under the guidance of a senior offensive security engineer to learn and develop skills in testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.

- Document findings and recommend industry best practices to customers in clear and concise bug reports
- Actively communicate with customers regarding findings and provide guidance on remediation strategies
- Perform validation of findings and retesting of fixes to ensure successful remediation of identified vulnerabilities
- Conduct regular internal penetration testing of the Secuna platform to ensure ongoing security.
- Participate in security research and development to stay current with emerging security technologies, threats, and techniques
- Provide support to other departments by sharing knowledge and conducting training sessions to improve overall security posture
- Develop and maintain tools and/or scripts to automate information gathering, vulnerability discovery, and exploitation processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Experience with penetration testing tools such as Nmap, Metasploit, Nuclei, and Burp Suite.
- Knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, Linux, mac OS) and networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP).
- Understanding of programming languages such as Python or Bash scripting.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to identify patterns and trends.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently or as part of a team
- 1-2+ years of experience in penetration testing
- Possession of at least one of the following certifications: OSCP, e WPTX, e MAPT, e CPPT
