SCOPE
The Portfolio Analyst is responsible for all startup related aspects of MAIN, managing deal flow of startups through screening and mentoring, facilitating deal closures and post investment coordination. This position is entry level, full time and work is done hybrid at the office and remotely.

TASK SUMMARY

• Organize all files in MAIN’s drive and encoding necessary data.
• Identify member skills and match them to the MAINtoring program for startups.
• Assist in scheduling MAINtoring sessions and screening sessions.
• Pipeline Development (Outbound – presentations, profile, filtering, screening) Investment Readiness Support (seminars, training, coaching, mentoring, member deployment), this includes filing of decks, contact details, updates, reporting.
• Deal sheet preparation and deployment.
• Syndicate Building for funding rounds, making sure the MAINgels have access to the data room, creation of Viber community groups.
• Collating legal documentation during the investment process.
• Sharing pipelines to relevant industry partners to build larger rounds.
• Portfolio Support (training, coaching, member skills deployment, technical assistance fund deployment).
• Coordination with members, investors, startups and ecosystem players and enablers.
• Coordinate with MAINvestee companies for quarterly updates.
• Develop a resource library for startups and MAINtors
• Update calendars of events for demo days
• Synchronize schedules, meetings and activities for portfolio
• Be a visible presence at MAIN events

KEY RELATIONSHIPS
● Internal:

• Reports to the Executive Director
• Works closely with the Coordinator, Member Engagement and Events where relevant

● External:

• Coordination with startups, ecosystem players (incubators, accelerators) and members
