Position: QA Technician

Responsibilities:

• Able to understand basic electronics concept.
• Performs visual mechanical inspection of all incoming and outgoing probe cards. Ensures checking of Document, PCB, Labeling, Assembly, Soldering, Spider, Probe card Cleanliness.
• Understand and implement visual inspection criteria i.e. soldering and cut/ peel off traces of PCB, damage component and cosmetics defects.
• Perform visual and measurement of tip diameter, tip length, probe depth, clearance, planarity and probe force) using high power scope and manual gram force measurement.
• Performs electrical test/ basic API operation, leakage test, leakage at Overtravel, contact resistance, probe force, capacitance check and planarity & alignment.
• Perform/operate basic operations and principles of PRVX 3 and 4 machine.
• Analyzes results and performs basic troubleshooting of the applicable machines used in his/her area of responsibility using soldering schematic and component list.
• Perform PRVX troubleshooting based on machine error codes.
• Able to understand/ interpret schematic diagram
• Familiar on different types of components.
• Creates, debug and updates reference file using component list and soldering schematic:
• Creates reference file using simple and complex cards
• Creates correlation table and able to assign channel and trace.
• Updates reference file parameters, i.e., electrical and physical specs, extender header and fixture height.
• Understand the accuracy of technical data encoding such a manual gram force. tip diameter and tip length measurement.
• Create nulling file for every Motherboard planarity and performs nulling test for all available mother boards.
• Golden Card Check for motherboard planarity.
• Perform checking/installation of pogo pins.
• Ensure the conditions of connectors and able to generate for replacement.
• Responsible for weekly, bi-monthly and monthly calibrations for API and motherboard.
• Ensures the timely calibration of all QA equipment and machines such as scope, Mother Board, gauge, dynamometer, API , etc.
• Responsible for daily monitoring of ESD, temperature and humidity.
• Ensures compliance on QA specifications and inspection drive.
• Provides feedbacks to concerned personnel/superior for any anomalies found during inspection and testing.
• Responsible for data entry both for incoming and outgoing file, daily OQA rejects and manual gram.
• Responsible for the preparation and inclusion of shipment documents based on outgoing customer specification and requirements. (Test result, customer file, outgoing photo, COC- hard /soft copy/ CD and email.
• Updates status of probecard, download and upload files in the Project Management System (PM), COC and Technical List and Etag Status.
• Performs repair/pin adjustment if necessary
• Complies with company rules and regulations and manufacturing specifications.
• Check the spider condition i.e. bent, broken, burnt , broken pin, smashed pin and P & A out of specs).
• Analyze defects criteria and able to provide recommendation to production.
• Performs daily checking of wrist trap prior IQA and OQA certification.
• Checks area for proper housekeeping and performs 5S.
• Able to recommend improvement on the data encoding system.
• Generates and publish report to the team and customer if necessary
• Performs technical and eng’g support if needed on urgent cases.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATION
Work Experience:
· 0 –2 years experience in similar field.
Mandatory Skills:
· With Basic Computer Knowledge
· Ability to understand fundamentals electronics concept.
· Ability to understand/ interpret complex schematic diagram.
· Knowledgeable on API operations and troubleshooting
· Flexible.
· Detail oriented
· Ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization
· Ability to work independently without immediate direction and supervision
· Ability to multi-task and can handle pressures and deadlines
· High energetic and self- motivated
Preferred Skill :
· Knowledge on probe card/ hardware is preferred
· Ability to work in a self- directed environment
· Knowledge on the operations of PRVX3 and PRVX4/ Probilt
Education/Licenses/Certification
Graduate of any 4 – year course or at least of 2 years Technical/Vocational graduate of related field (computer, electrical, electronics, with at least 3 years work experience in similar field.
