QA/QC Engineer (Las Pinas)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Familiarizes with all the specifications of construction materials to be used for the project.
2. Inspects the quality of materials delivered on site and ensures compliance to specifications.
3. To liaise with construction team to ensure all inspection and testing requirements are fulfilled and work quality is achieved in order to meet client’s requirement as per the contract.
4. Report non-conformance works or materials to Quality Assurance/Quality Control Head.
5. Inspects/evaluate the quality of work done by the sub-contractors for billing.
6. Coordinates materials to be used at site for follow-up to the subcontractors and supplier.
7. Responsible for gathering samples of materials for testing.
8. Prepares work permits (installation, inspection pouring request, etc.) for approval of consultant.
9. Prepares and monitors materials (sample, catalog cuts, etc.) to be used on site for submittal and approval of consultant and designers.
10. To liaise with client’s representative on site to ensure all inspection and testing requirements are fulfilled and complete work quality is achieved in order to meet client’s requirement as per the contract.
11. QAQC representative in the process related to punch listing and initial handover of the works and activities to the Project Manager
12. To ensure all records are completed and compiled for submission to client with regards to completed work quality in order to meet client’s requirement as per the contract
13. To assist Quality Manager to coordinate the implementation of the BBPI Quality Management System through the implementation of the project quality plan in order to meet the company’s internal policies and certification to international standards.
14. To assist Quality Manager to coordinate the implementation of the \BBPI Management System through the collation/compilation of data pertaining to the system performance to ensure continuous improvement in order to meet the company’s internal policies and certification to international standards.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
Preferably with experience in high-rise building construction.
At least 1 Year (Experienced Employee specialized in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
Can start immediately.
