Job Overview
The Refrigeration Operator is responsible in Operating and Monitoring of Refrigeration system of entire Igloo facility and to facilitate necessary action in terms of repair and PMS including any improvement to implement.
1. External Qualifications
a. Education
Employee preferably graduate of any Refrigeration courses and with good experienced in handling Ammonia refrigeration System operation.
b. Preferred Qualifications
· At least 4 years work experience in handling Ammonia Refrigeration System.
Responsibilities
· Assist the Refrigeration Officer in developing Refrigeration Facilities improvement.
· Perform Safety in handling the unit such as Compressor, Motor, Genset and all involving Mechanical and Electrical.
· Maintain properly and be familiar with all equipment and to ensure stability of the units.
· Perform repair of Malfunctioning equipment and make action plan and take necessary action.

· Perform and monitor daily Refrigeration system operation.
Ø Main drive Motor.
Ø Compressor Set Parameters
Ø Refrigeration System vessel level monitoring.
Ø Temperature Monitoring.
· Conduct daily Checklist and Monitoring of Refrigeration system parameters and operation.
· Daily visual inspection and must all pressurized vessel are free from leakage.
· Perform Monthly PMS of refrigeration such as Unit Cooler and Valve station.
· Conduct repair and troubleshooting on system and other mechanical repair such as Brazes or Solder parts due to defective joint and leaks.
· Observes and Test system operation using gauges and instrument if needed.
· Ensure to implement PMS and other preventive measure such as Test Lines, components and connections for leaks.
· Ensure to implement PMS of Air Conditioning Unit of the entire Plant.
· Dismantling malfunctioning systems and components using electrical, mechanical and pneumatic testing equipment.
· Adjust or replace worn out defective mechanism and parts and assembles repaired systems.
· Perform mechanical overhaul if needed.
· Accomplish proper documentation.
· Monitor properly all tools and equipment.
· Ensure compliance to Safety and Good Housekeeping.
