Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Today, we have a workforce of over 6,000 people representing 40 nationalities who perform work on the contract in 10 countries.

Job Summary

As a Fuel Distribution Systems Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing a retail and bulk fuel facility, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements. Your role involves managing personnel, overseeing day-to-day fuel operations, and maintaining HSE standards.

Roles and Responsibilities

Prepare and review receipt and usage calculations for tank capacities, ensuring service times and required fuel levels are maintained.

Review receiving and issuing documents, submit reports, and analyze inspection fuel samples.

Oversee preventive maintenance and repairs on fuel systems, including calibrations of test equipment.

Ensure compliance with HSE standards, environmental responsibilities, and conduct regular safety training.

Manage department personnel, work schedules, disciplinary actions, and performance appraisals.

Provide excellent customer service.

Provide day-to-day oversight of fuel operations, covering both retail and bulk fuel operations.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 8 years of directly related experience.

Must have at least 3 years of Team Lead / Supervisor / Management experience.

Requires extensive experience and knowledge of U.S. Military fuel operations and equipment, including M969/M970 Fuel Tankers, M978 HEMTT, and 350 GPM pumps.

Must be familiar with U.S. Military tactical fuel distribution systems and fuels accountability paperwork.

Must have a 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification.

Requires intermediate computer skills and knowledge of the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook).

Must be fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Requires effective problem-solving skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 70 pounds on a frequent basis.

Must be able to lift, crouch, bend, reach and climb in all weather conditions.

Must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with HAZMAT Endorsement.

Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
