Process Innovation Engineer
- Contribute to the development of the digital transformation road map and the strategy guiding TBEA Region’s future
- Lead TBEA entities in carrying out the manufacturing maturity and digital transformation road plan initiatives, which include hardware, software, automation, robotics, and new technologies
- In charge of obtaining user and business needs, analysing the requirements to determine where they sit in the solution stack, road map, and ensuring that business requirements are satisfied and all projects are structurally linked
- Find the opportunities to enhance the way the company (with all entities) functions, and execute improvements providing value
- Responsible of managing business partners and system integrators ecosystem while keeping a sharp focus on sustainability of these projects with the help of matrix organization owning the solutions after a proper handover
- Conduct research and Benchmark activities on market trends in order to determine new technologies affecting business operations and the position of the company
- Grasp new and current customer expectations and implement to the plans accordingly
- Responsible of monitoring, measuring, and reporting the transformation progress
- Responsible of cooperating with TB global digitalization functions, following the global initiatives to keep the program in line with global directives
- Drive the regional development of the smart factory infrastructure and architecture from requirements to delivery
- Evaluate technology providers, support making technology choices and manage external partners
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business or other related fields (Electric & Electronic Engineer, Electronic Communication Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering)
- Master’s degree in business administration with a focus on information technology is preferred.
- Min 5 years of experience in Industry 4.0 applications (such as Robotics, Automation, AMRs, Mechatronics, vision systems, image processing)
- Min 5 years of experience on operational technologies and industrial communication systems (PLC, Inverter, Actuator, Sensors, SCADA)
- Min 5 years of experience in Digital Technologies (PLM, Traceability, MES/MOM, Merging Technologies, Software Development, Process Simulation)
- Familiarity with problem solving methods (TBBP, A3 Reporting, Six Sigma, 8D, etc....)
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and preferably German
- Strong desire to work in technology-driven business transformation and curiosity around opportunities and threats posed by innovation and industry convergence.
- Good communication and team working skills.
- Flexible for domestic and international travel
