Zakres obowiązków

Prepare Master schedule and budget for new projects
Investigate issues from current model/recent PJT and forecast future impact on new process concept
Make functional/concept specifications for the process, equipment and tooling based on required capacity, quality, cost, safety and customers’ drawings
Change management: Estimate the impact of running changes and kaizen implementation
Analyze technical specifications and technical drawings submitted by suppliers

(equipment schedule, line balancing, layout preparation, risk evaluation - PFMEA, tools capacity evaluation, Cp/Cpk)

Propose suppliers for equipment and tooling and negotiate cost and lead time
Coordinate the different suppliers to optimize the installation timing
Assist equipment and tooling installation at production facilities and prepare handover to plant
Report project status to division management
Lead innovative process studies such as automation and search for new technologies by doing proto activities.
Work closely with Sales, Design, Manufacturing, Material Teams to develop and implement solid design concepts meeting customer’s expectation, propose new ideas to have more competitive products and initiate/lead prototype activities for process.
Lead the discussions during Feasibility studies to ensure all Seat assembly production related cost are considered
Develop production process concepts for future Business: Achieving financial KPI (ROI/IRR/BEP, etc).
Investigate issues from current model/recent PJT and forecast future impact on new process concept.
Perform benchmarking activities to help increase our knowledge of production strategies being utilized by competitors
Preparing the technical files and technical presentation according to customer’s expectations
Following the new automotive technologies, attending exhibitions, fair, online symposiums.
Work with TIEs to develop new practices based upon the benchmarking activities performed
When possible (pending workload), can aid the VA/VE in identifying cost savings ideas

Poszukiwane kompetencje

Mechanical or Industrial Engineering related field as mandatory, but preferable
Experience in automotive industry as production/method engineering

(Cutting and sewing manufacturing process experience is preferrable)

CAD software knowledge, Catia, NX, Solidworks, Autocad are preferred
MS Office advanced knowledge is preferred
English obligatory (very good), German language can be additional asset
Proven ability to create and execute project plans that achieve defined expectations within budgetary constraints
Travelling: average per year < (=) 50%, peak time >80%
Highly motivated, self-directed, creative, innovative individual
Ability for Analytical thinking, stress management, time management
