Senior Startup Account Manager – Warsaw

AWS Poland is looking for a new team member who is passionate about enabling and developing growth-/late-stage technology startups. You will be at the heart of latest technology trends like artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), serverless or Internet-of-Things (Io T) to help your startups grow. Your startup customers leverage AWS to innovate and become the next unicorns and future enterprises, like today’s Tidio, Docplanner, Omnipack and Brainly.

You will be part of a team that is responsible for driving adoption of AWS technologies while bringing differentiated value to customers. This is a team dedicated to Startups, an important and growing subset of customers for AWS. Startups follow unique technology adoption patterns and growth trajectories that distinguish them from traditional businesses, so you will be employing engagement strategies and programs tailored to their business needs and technical preferences.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and success
  • Drive business growth and AWS adoption with a defined set of customers
  • Create and execute against comprehensive, customer-centric account plans to exceed your goals
  • Facilitate long-term relationships from C-level to engineers
  • Accelerate your business by working with internal stakeholders and leveraging external partners
  • Articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services and Amazon
  • Represent AWS at conferences & marketing events
  • Expect moderate travel
A day in the life
In this role, you leverage your Polish market expertise and business proficiency to engage with technology startups and enable them to grow their business through leveraging AWS in and beyond technology. You are responsible to build trust, close executive relationships and create comprehensive account plans to drive AWS adoption. You understand the importance of communicating and acting on all levels from Cx Os to engineers to empower them to innovate and accelerate time-to-market. Along the way, starting from the customer, you team up with various internal and external stakeholders to meet and exceed your goals, such as the Solutions Architecture, Business Development, Partner, Training, and Support teams.

  • MBA/MA/MS degree or equivalent
  • Experience in driving adoption of new technologies and solutions
  • Worked at/with tech startups in the past
  • Previous Cloud expertise at a technology company
