Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with engineers, designers, and product managers to deliver a consistent, delightful and seamless user experience
• Build and improve collaborative features focused on improving sales rep productivity and planning cadences
• Lead engineering initiatives for code improvements and refactoring, including code-quality controls
• Create a standard, robust 3rd-party API integration framework, including refinement of existing data synchronization tooling and use it to build new integrations with other Clari or external services
• REST API design, documentation, and code generation
• Implementing wide-ranging test coverage
• Follow the team’s Scrum process and actively participate in all ceremonies

Qualifications

• Ability and desire to adapt to new technologies and adopt effective software engineering patterns & practices
• Strong technical communicator: document solutions via diagrams, present designs and architecture to cross-functional teams and a desire to teach and mentor fellow team members
• 2+ years experience with object-oriented programming in a strongly typed language, such as Java or Kotlin,
• Experience with distributed systems: cloud infrastructure, reliability & observability, performance, security best practices
• Familiarity with (No)SQL, preferably Postgre SQL as well as Mongo DB
• Experience with software development best practices such as interactive debugging (with breakpoints), TDD & coverage, SOLID & patterns
• Experience with CI/CD, ticketing systems (preferably Jira), Intelli J or Eclipse
• Understanding of building robust and secure REST and/or g RPC-based service integrations
• Experience with working in a true continuous delivery environment is desirable
