Job Description:We are seeking a motivated and experienced Cashier to join our team at our fish restaurant located in Cascais. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant cashiering, handling suppliers' payments, stock management, and taking reservations over the phone. The candidate must be fluent in both English and Portuguese and preferably reside in Cascais.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cash Handling: Manage all cash transactions, including customer payments, and ensure accurate recording and balancing of the register.
- Suppliers’ Payments: Handle payments to suppliers, keeping records of all outgoing payments.
- Stock Management: Perform basic stock takes and assist with ordering to ensure the restaurant has the necessary supplies.
- Reservations: Answer phone calls and manage customer reservations using the restaurant’s booking system.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with questions and ensuring a smooth payment experience.
- Previous Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a cashier in a restaurant or similar role.
- Language: Must be fluent in English and Portuguese.
- Location: Preferably living in Cascais or nearby areas.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic understanding of stock management and supplier relations
- Familiarity with handling restaurant reservations
- Availability: Must be available for full-time work, including weekends and holidays.
- Salary of €820 gross per month Plus tips
Pagamento: 820,00€ - 850,00€ por mês
