Marsh Portugal is seeking candidates for the following position for its Claims Management Team, based in the Lisbon or Porto office:

CLAIMS SENIOR SPECIALIST - CONSTRUCTION INSURANCE FIELD

We will count on you to:

• Analyses and advisory on claims related with construction field clients;
• Focus on Construction, Property and Liability claims management (standard and complex claims);
• Be present and work as one with our clients (on-site presence and getting familiar with their reality and projects across Portugal);
• Manage a team of claims advisors;
• Make direct contact with clients and insurance companies, identify responsibility, schedule expertise assessments, negotiate indemnity values and produce reports (local and international);
• Contact international colleagues in order to manage outgoing claims from projects aborad.

What you need to have:

• A degree or masters degree in law, civil engineering or other related field;
• At least 5 years of experience managing construction or property & liability claims;
• Strong team work, proactivity and results orientation skills;
• English and Portuguese language proficiency;
• Proficiency working with Msc Office including Excel.
