Roles Overview:

Our payments backend ensures funds are delivered on time to merchants creating a seamless payment experience to the consumer.

It is a mission critical system that must reliably process millions of transactions within short time boundaries.

What you will do:

Build infrastructure from the ground up through Infrastructure as Code that can be deployed on a data center private cloud or on a public cloud.
Build and operate different high-volume technologies for messaging, storage, and compute (Kafka, Airflow, Nomad, K8s, Rabbit MQ).
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in the Payments backend space.

Who you are:

A quick study committed to learning new concepts and skilled in evaluating the latest technologies and frameworks.
Experienced in taking ownership of tasks, commitments, quality, and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented team player with a desire to work on a team and mentor team members when necessary.
Able to efficiently break down problems and leverage business resources to establish a clear path toward customer value despite the presence of ambiguity.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to communicate intent to other developers through code.
A solid foundation in software engineering – bachelor’s degree preferred with 3+ years of experience.
5+ years of experience on building infrastructure with Infrastructure as Code practices in the context of scrum teams.
You deeply understand the components and challenges to build Kubernetes cluster, Kakfa cluster and you are used to mentor younger engineers.
You are an expert in Terraform or an alternative generic Infrastructure as Code toolset.
You have deep knowledge about one of the main public clouds and also experience with building equivalent solutions in private clouds.
