Your Role

As a Senior Dev Ops Engineer (m/f/d) for our Sea Allocation product, you will work with an international product team supporting and enhancing our mission-critical application, connecting +Nagel to our customers and external partners worldwide, 24/7, 365 days a year.

Your Responsibilities

• Participate in the management of our mission critical application.
• Perform the installation, configuration and administration of integration, test and production systems.
• Constantly improve and adapt monitoring, logging and alerting systems.
• Identify, break and resolve issues with our shared middleware components using structured troubleshooting approaches.
• Analyze complex communication scenarios and provide 3rd level operations support.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Several years of experience in a similar position.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem solving skills (log analysis, etc.), passion for solving complex technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills, passionate about interacting with internal and external customers as well as other teams from around the world.
• Experience in operating Java, RHEL-based applications.
• Expert knowledge of troubleshooting enterprise database systems (Oracle and Postgre SQL preferred).
• Writing skills to automate routine tasks (example: Python, Bash).
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CI / CD tools like Ansible and Jenkins.
• Experience with AWS.
• Fluency in verbal and written English is required.
