Position: Stock Assistant
Department: Warehouse
Reports to: Stock Manager
Your Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, check, and unload deliveries, ensuring accuracy of stock received.
• Organize and label stock in the storeroom, ensuring proper storage and rotation
• Regularly replenish stock on the shop floor, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and organized.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate with the Stock Manager to ensure timely replenishments.
• Assist with regular stock counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate records.
• Ensure the storeroom and shop floor are tidy and organized in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Handle stock discrepancies and report any issues to management.
• Assist in the preparation for sales and promotions by organizing products and pricing displays.
• Support the sales team by locating products quickly and efficiently.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and trolleys safely and effectively.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in a stockroom or warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
• Good organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and move heavy boxes or products (within safety guidelines).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, if required.
