About the role
We are looking for an Asset Design Specialist to join our quickly growing Digital team.
As an Asset Design Specialist, you will lead efforts in organizing media, assets and corresponding metadata for efficient management of our digital asset management platforms. This role is also responsible for creating, reviewing, and editing assets, assigning appropriate taxonomy and metadata to assets, and ensuring efficiency and proper usage by the relevant team.
As part of your daily responsibilities, you will also:

• Lead the creation and evolution of digital asset management capabilities by developing the in-house roadmap focused on streamlining operations, optimized user flows, permissions, and maintaining best practices for asset management.
• Create, adapt and optimize digital assets for use on qatarairways.com as well as digital marketing channels. Provide assets in all required adaptations for all campaigns.
• Implement delivery schedules for media elements and work closely with managers and digital marketing channel leads to oversee asset management and the distribution process.
• Liaise with Marketing to obtain the Master creative and working files.
• Produce and optimize the assets for all channels: QR.com assets, ENL assets, Display banners, Social Media, Native Ads, etc.
• Deliver the assets and communicate the details with stations and other digital stakeholders.
• Liaise with external agencies on asset preparation and other required services
• Maintain and organize the Digital Asset Management system (DAM).
• Optimize assets for web, perform quality checks, uploading and publishing.
• Handle naming, tagging, and adding metadata on all assets for efficient search and replace functions.
• Create imagery templates for components.
• Work with the relevant teams to develop batch upload processes for assets and metadata.
• Develop processes that would enable adequate handling of image expiration and validity.
• Catalog and audit image batches to compile a list of expired images. Remove and replace those images from all digital touchpoints.

About You
A successful candidate should possess the following experience and qualifications:

• High School Qualification / Diploma or Equivalent with Minimum 5 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience
• Previous work experience in a digital optimization role within a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
• Expertise in design principles and latest design technologies.
• Understanding of digital marketing and its channels.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop. Ability to create, manipulate and produce large number of artworks efficiently.
• Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager. Working with image repositories (DAM) and fundamental knowledge of how a Content Management System (CMS) works.
• Use Adobe illustrator to create buttons, logos and other graphics for QR.com.
• Advanced knowledge of HTML5 and working on CSS.
• Using Google Web Designer to create HTML5 banners. Knowledge of HTML5 banners and how to incorporate Click Tags
