Purpose :

• To complete the construction and pre-commissioning & commissioning (PC & C) activities relating to Building mechanical including HVAC and plumbing in NFE process in accordance with NFE project rules and schedule

• To report to the discipline manager and lead engineer

• To be responsible in managing day-to-day activities of the building group

• Take Safety as a first priority and Follow Golden Rules

• Attend required SHES / QA / PC&C Trainings

• Carry out technical review of subcontractors/vendors technical documents to ensure that quality and requirements are complied with requirements

• Clear and solve engineering issues

• Chair the PC&C coordination meeting and to prepare agenda and MOM for record and mutual alignment

• Lead and motivate subcontractors in the execution of PC&C activities

• Responsible for technical matters, procedures, design deliverables and schedule compliance.

• Carry out technical review of subcontractors/vendors technical documents for HVAC/E&I to ensure that quality and requirements are complied with requirements.

• Clear and solve engineering issues for HVAC/E&I.

• Identifying areas of concern during the course of any project to Lead Building Engineer and/or Building Discipline Manager while proposing necessary corrective action.

Carry out technical review subcontractors/vendors Material Approval Request (MAR) for

• HVAC/E&I materials and comment as required.

• Responsible for close out technical/quality queries from COMPANY Engineer and QC.

• Responsible for close out technical/quality queries from QC department.

• Safety, Health, Environment and Security (SHES)

• Carry out technical review subcontractors/vendors PC&C Work Method Statements (WMS), including JSA’s for their work and collaborate with SHES department personnel and HVAC/E&I Supervisors to review WMS’s and comment as required.

• Building Mechanical PC&C Management (Including Gaseous Fire Fighting system)

• Ensure building mechanical PC&C objectives are met safely, with a high standard of consistent quality and profitability.

• Liaise with SHES, quality and other supporting departments and coordinate Building mechanical supervision to ensure high quality work is produced in a safe, efficient manner.

• Ensure that sufficient plans and preparations have been made by Subcontractors to allow quality work to be completed in a safe and efficient manner.

• Ensure Subcontractors prepare proper PC&C documents on time.

• Coordinate with subcontractor to prepare readiness for PC&C.

• Review building mechanical PC&C labor, material and equipment requirements and effectively manage day-to-day activities of Building mechanical Supervisors and Subcontractors.

• In collaboration with Subcontractors, establish overall, monthly, and weekly schedules to achieve the required progress and monitor Subcontractor schedules and cost and drive corrective actions with Supervisors and Subcontractors in the field to ensure Building mechanical PC&C work is delivered on time at or below budgeted cost.

• Monitor Building mechanical supervision to labor ratios is maintained at all times.

• Manage Building Subcontractors to ensure productivity and efficiency to meet Project targets and ensure work progresses to meet the overall Project schedules.

• Work in close co-operation with the QC department and QC supervision to ensure Building mechanical PC&C is carried out in a proficient and efficient manner.

• Evaluation of the performance shall be done every 6 months.

• Upon request you are requested to support other member’s activities.

During the other member’s home leave you are requested to cover his activities.

• Other assistant work

o Preservation work after Dispatch Release Sheet had issued
o Local procurement work by Company if any
o Coordination work with other discipline such as Civil, Structure, Electrical, Instrument, Piping, painting/Scaffolding/Insulation, Commissioning etc.
