Job Title: Chef de Partie - Bakery (CDP)-KSA
Starting salary: QAR 2,500 to QAR 3,000 plus FREE accommodation and transportation
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Chef de Partie (CDP) to join our culinary team. As a CDP specializing in pastries, you will be responsible for assisting the Bakery Chef in the creation and preparation of all bakery items. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our pastry department, ensuring the delivery of exceptional desserts and baked goods to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Bakery Chef in planning and preparing a variety of baked goods.
- Execute the recipes and techniques as directed by the Bakery Chef.
- Ensure that all bakery items are prepared and presented according to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of pastry ingredients and supplies.
- Collaborate with the Bakery Chef and other team members to develop new Bakery ideas and menu items.
- Maintain a clean and organized Bakery station, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior bakery team members.
- Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or similar role, specializing in Bakery.
- Proficiency in various bakery techniques, including baking cakes.
- Solid understanding of flavor profiles, ingredients, and bakery preparation methods.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Creative mindset with a passion for bakery arts.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
