BIM MANAGER - COORDINATOR

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced BIM Manager/Coordinator to oversee and manage the BIM (Building Information Modeling) services for our projects in Qatar. r.
The ideal candidate will have experience in both managing BIM processes and collaborating with remote teams, particularly in the coordination of BIM services across multiple geographies. You will work closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance with local regulations and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

BIM Coordination & Collaboration:
Serve as the main point of contact for BIM-related activities and coordination for projects in Qatar.
Coordinate with the BIM modelers and teams in India to ensure that the required BIM models, drawings, and documentation are delivered on time, according to specifications.
Ensure that all BIM models are compliant with local standards and project requirements.
Regularly communicate and collaborate with remote teams in India to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure seamless BIM integration.
Project Management:
Manage the BIM workflow across all stages of the project lifecycle, from design to construction.
Assist in setting up the BIM execution plan (BEP) for each project and ensure its adherence throughout the project timeline.
Monitor and track the progress of BIM-related tasks and deliverables, ensuring they meet project deadlines.
Quality Assurance & Control:
Ensure the quality, consistency, and accuracy of BIM models and associated data across all projects.
Conduct regular reviews and audits of BIM models to ensure they meet project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
Implement and enforce best practices for BIM modeling and documentation standards across all teams.
Team Management & Coordination:
Provide guidance and technical support to the BIM team, including modelers in India, ensuring they are equipped with the right tools and information to execute tasks.
Foster a collaborative environment between the Qatar-based team and the India-based modeling teams, encouraging clear communication and effective problem-solving.
Organize regular meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders to review progress, resolve issues, and align on project objectives.
Software & Tools Management :
Ensure proper use and proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and other related tools.
Coordinate and manage the integration of various BIM tools, ensuring the smooth transfer of data and model updates across platforms.
Stakeholder Communication:
Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and consultants to understand project goals, milestones, and requirements.
Prepare and present BIM-related reports, updates, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders.
Training & Development:
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in BIM technology and practices.
Provide training and guidance to internal staff on BIM tools, standards, and workflows.

Requirements:

Educational Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
BIM-related certifications (e.g., Autodesk Revit Certification, BIM Manager Certification) are a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM management or coordination, preferably within the construction or architecture industries.
Prior experience working with international teams or coordinating remotely is highly desirable.
Experience in managing and delivering BIM services for large-scale construction projects, especially in Qatar or the Middle East, is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of BIM processes, workflows, and standards (e.g., ISO 19650, PAS 1192).
Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, and other BIM-related tools.
Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with remote teams and multiple stakeholders.
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
Problem-solving ability and attention to detail in maintaining quality control and accuracy in BIM models.
Other:
Knowledge of local Qatari regulations, standards, and building codes related to BIM is an advantage.
Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging deadlines.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) :
Timely delivery of BIM models and documentation in line with project milestones.
Effective communication and coordination between Qatar and India teams.
Quality and accuracy of BIM models and deliverables.
Compliance with project requirements, local standards, and client specifications

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: QAR12,500.00 - QAR14,000.00 per month
