Job Description:
Rota International is seeking reliable and customer-focused Cashiers to join our team for an upcoming event in Doha, Qatar. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for accurately processing transactions, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a smooth and efficient checkout experience for all guests. Key Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other forms of payment.
- Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and assisting guests with their purchases.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area.
- Ensure the correct change is given and manage cash register balances.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of point-of-sale equipment and systems.
- Resolve any customer issues or complaints in a friendly and professional manner.
- Follow all company policies and procedures for cash handling and customer transactions.
- Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Help with inventory control and restocking as needed.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar cashier or customer service role (preferably in retail, hospitality, or event settings).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive, friendly attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a strong work ethic.
