Data & AI Presales Solution Consultant
Role Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant with expertise in data and AI solution selling to join our team. You will be a trusted advisor to our clients, acting as a subject matter expert with core capabilities in data product modernization, analytics, and AI. This role involves the end-to-end technical design of data and AI solutions that address customer business problems, needs, and opportunities.

Data & AI Presales Solution Consultant
Role Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant with expertise in data and AI solution selling to join our team. You will be a trusted advisor to our clients, acting as a subject matter expert with core capabilities in data product modernization, analytics, and AI. This role involves the end-to-end technical design of data and AI solutions that address customer business problems, needs, and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify data and AI opportunities.
- Understand and analyze customer needs and align them with our solution offerings and capabilities.
- Deliver compelling, personalized presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts (POC).
- Provide detailed responses to technical and functional requirements in RFIs/RFPs.
- Develop proposal content and pricing strategies that align with customer needs.
- Serve as a solution champion for Microsoft Azure Data & AI and Databricks, participating in deep-dive discussions to enhance proposed solutions and drive opportunity/demand generation.
- Create and maintain a library of recorded demos for various use cases.
- Engage with bid management and draft comprehensive value propositions, presentations, compliance sheets, and services statements of work (SOW).
- 8+ years of technical pre-sales or consulting experience with a major system integrator or technology provider.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Experience in a client-facing consulting role, with proficiency in consultative and value selling techniques.
- Hands-on experience implementing data and AI solutions, particularly with Microsoft Azure Data & AI, Copilot, Databricks, Open AI, Chat GPT, and/or GCP.
- Familiarity with test-driven development methodologies, particularly with Python testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, nose).
- Expert technical understanding of Microsoft Azure data and AI solution offerings, along with knowledge of leading-edge and emerging technologies in the field.
- Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI tools.
- Proficiency in generative AI solutions, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and fine-tuning.
- Experience in designing data and AI architecture and delivering POCs.
- Proven track record in developing technical content, including presentations, proposal artifacts, data and AI solution architecture, services SOWs, and responses to RFPs.
- Professional certifications are preferred (e.g., PMP, TOGAF, Microsoft Data & AI, Databricks, etc.).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with mastery of the English language.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to work, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning in data and AI technologies.
