We're looking for an Electrical Engineer for one of our clients based in Doha. Candidates are required to answer all the pre-screening questions to make sure that their application will be processed as soon as possible.
Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, experience in a Power Plant is advantageous.
• QID / NOC Holder
• Engineering Certificate holder in Qatar
• Able to start immediately.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Electrical System Design: Design and develop electrical systems for power generation, including control systems, protection schemes, and distribution networks.
• Equipment Specification: Specify and select electrical equipment, such as transformers, generators, and switchgear, based on project requirements and standards.
• System Analysis: Conduct performance analysis and simulations of electrical systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Testing and Commissioning: Oversee testing and commissioning of electrical equipment, ensuring systems function properly before being integrated into operations.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical issues in the plant, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintenance Support: Assist in the development of maintenance strategies and schedules for electrical equipment to maximize operational reliability.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design reports, maintenance records, and operational manuals.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all electrical systems comply with relevant safety and environmental regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering disciplines, such as mechanical and civil engineers, to ensure integrated project solutions.
• Operational Support: Provide technical support to plant operations, including training personnel on electrical systems and protocols.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze the performance of electrical systems, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Project Participation: Contribute to project planning, budgeting, and scheduling for electrical engineering aspects of power plant projects.
