We're looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer for one of our requirements in Doha, Qatar. Interested applicants are required to answer the pre-screening questions to ensure a smooth and efficient processing.
Minimum Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer, specifically in Power Plants
• Valid QID and NOC
• Certified Engineering license in Doha

Duties and Responsibilities:

• System Design and Analysis: Design and analyze electrical systems for power generation, including substations, switchgear, and control systems.
• Project Oversight: Lead electrical engineering projects, ensuring they align with plant operations, regulatory standards, and budgetary constraints.
• Operational Support: Provide technical support for plant operations, troubleshooting electrical issues and optimizing performance.
• Maintenance Planning: Develop and oversee maintenance schedules for electrical equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all electrical systems and operations comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technical staff, fostering skill development and teamwork.
• Testing and Commissioning: Oversee testing and commissioning of electrical equipment, ensuring systems operate correctly before handover.
• Documentation Management: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for electrical designs, procedures, and maintenance activities.
• Budget Management: Assist in developing budgets for electrical projects and monitor expenses throughout project execution.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil, etc.) to ensure integrated and efficient plant design and operations.
• Performance Monitoring: Implement and monitor performance metrics for electrical systems, identifying areas for improvement.
• Regulatory Liaison: Interact with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Innovation and Upgrades: Identify opportunities for technological upgrades and innovations to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• And as needed by Management.
