The opportunity

We are currently seeking to hire an EYFS and a Key Stage 1 Teacher, who can join our team in January 2025, for a Fixed Term until June 2025.
As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering outstanding lessons, monitoring and evaluating student achievement and contributing to the accomplishment of Doha College’s vision and mission.
All our classrooms are equipped with interactive screens; all students are furnished with an i Pad upon entry, and all staff and students use Google Classroom.
This is a non-sponsored position and only candidates with family sponsorship currently residing in Qatar will be considered.

About you

Candidates should have a passion for the primary years and the ability to apply a range of teaching strategies that motivate and encourage children to want to learn. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver lessons that inspire children to succeed, have a detailed knowledge of the English National Curriculum, as well as a commitment to the pursuit of excellence in education standards.
We are a British international school and all of our lessons are taught in English. A high standard of written and spoken English is therefore essential. Applicants should be willing to contribute in a positive manner to all aspects of the school vision including co-curricular activities.

Final-stage interviews: Week commencing 17 November 2024 by videoconference.
We will collect references for candidates invited to attend the final-round interviews. Reference from the current/most recent employer is mandatory prior to interview.
