Duties and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities of a Family Medicine Specialist include their daily functions, critical tasks, and important responsibilities. These duties include:
· Monitoring vital signs; completing regular checkups
· Reviewing patient medical histories
· Maintaining accurate medical records for all patients
· Treating chronic illnesses; managing viral and bacterial infections; developing treatment protocols
· Prescribing medication, treatment or therapy to patients
· Conducting routine medical procedures
· Performing women’s health procedures
· Monitoring children’s health
· Performing inoculations
· Making recommendations for lifestyle changes to improve the patients’ quality of life
