Newtown for Contracting is seeking an experienced MEP Foreman with a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in Doha, managing MEP projects on construction sites, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest quality standards. The MEP Foreman will play a key role in supervising and managing day-to-day activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and delivering projects on time.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the installation, maintenance, and repair of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, and plumbing) on construction sites.
  • Ensure that work is performed according to project specifications, plans, and safety regulations.
  • Manage and monitor a team of MEP technicians and laborers, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other construction teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of MEP tasks.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.
  • Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials, minimizing waste and ensuring safe working conditions.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for the timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Report daily progress, issues, and site conditions to the project manager.
  • Resolve any on-site technical issues related to MEP works and recommend corrective actions if necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an MEP Foreman in Doha's construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and blueprints.
  • Proven ability to manage teams and ensure adherence to project timelines.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices on construction sites.
  • Qatar driving license and access to a personal car (preferred).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR3,000.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
