We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Doha for
Marine Foreman - Male
Job Purpose:
This position is a unique opportunity with so many advantages in oil and gas career sector in one of the most important Project handled by SPIE in Qatar with Qatar Energy in which the Project is in its 8th years with first contract achieved after 07 years and 06 months in Multi discipline tasks in Maintenance and Operation of large Industrial Area
The candidate starts with general skills like:

• Responsible for supervising, planning and scheduling inspection and maintenance activities of marine mechanical equipment / facility including pipelines
• He should be familiar with international standards for pumps, compressors, blowers, generators, diesel engines, pipes and fittings, material specifications, P&ID and Piping Isometric drawings. He shall have experience in installation, maintenance and repair of metallic and non-metallic piping of various diameter (both above ground and underground), and coating & linings. He shall be capable of trouble shooting, maintaining, repairing and overhauling large size pumps, diesel engines, generators, compressors, blowers, and the like.
• Shall have good computer literacy and expected to work in SAP system for job planning, work order management, work confirmation, history entry, report preparation in SAP (CMMS).
• Staff selected for this position shall have good spoken, written and reading skills in English.

Your main duties will be to: -

• You will be demanded to realize the following activities and tasks
• Troubleshooting of all kinds of marine / mechanical and electrical systems / equipment
• Application of general maintenance
• Routine test and inspections

Your profile

• Ideally you will have diploma in engineering from a recognized
  institution with 7 years' experience in oil and gas or petrochemical industry or marine industry or in a similar system / facility.
• Experience required in marine and mechanical
• Staff selected for this position shall have good spoken in English.
• Candidates possessing multi-discipline (Electrical plus Instrumentation) maintenance skill will be preferred.
• Qatar Valid License
• Candidates possessing marine maintenance skill will be preferred.
