Job Title: Mechanic Hydraulic (Equipment)
Location: Doha - Qatar
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Hydraulic Mechanic to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot hydraulic systems on heavy machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of hydraulic systems, possess strong diagnostic skills, and ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
· Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems on heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, Dozers, cranes, and other machinery.
· Conduct routine maintenance and preventive checks on hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, motors, and hoses.
· Diagnose and resolve hydraulic issues, such as leaks, pressure loss, or component failures.
· Dismantle, repair, and reassemble hydraulic components using specialized tools and techniques.
· Perform hydraulic fluid changes and maintain fluid levels and quality.
· Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.
· Collaborate with equipment operators to identify potential issues and recommend maintenance schedules.
· Maintain records of repairs, parts replaced, and service reports.
· Follow safety protocols and guidelines during all repair and maintenance tasks.
· Assist in procuring hydraulic parts and components when necessary.
Qualifications:
· A minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Hydraulic Mechanic with heavy machinery and equipment.
· Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, schematics, and components.
· Skilled in using hydraulic diagnostic tools and equipment.
· Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
· Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
· Physical stamina and ability to work in different environments, including fieldwork.
· Certification in hydraulic system maintenance or mechanical engineering.
· Experience with various heavy equipment used in construction, mining, or industrial settings.
· Familiarity with safety regulations related to hydraulic equipment maintenance.
