Position: MEP Supervisor (Facility Management Experienced)
Location: Doha, Qatar
Salary: QAR 3,500 (Full Package)
Duration: 1 month (with potential for extension)
Working days and hours: 6 days/week , 9 hours/day
Preferred: 3-4 years in facility management.
Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision & Coordination: Lead a team of technicians and subcontractors for MEP maintenance tasks. Collaborate with other departments to ensure the seamless operation of MEP systems.
• Maintenance Planning & Scheduling: Develop and implement maintenance schedules for MEP systems, ensuring optimal functionality and minimal operational disruptions.
• Inspection & Testing: Perform routine inspections and testing of MEP systems to identify and address any issues, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Promptly respond to MEP breakdowns, diagnosing issues and implementing repair solutions to reduce downtime.
• Budget Management: Assist in preparing and managing budgets for MEP activities, identifying cost-saving measures and ensuring effective financial management.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, inspections, and repairs. Prepare performance reports for management.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to health and safety regulations, implementing measures to safeguard personnel and property.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary materials and evaluate vendor performance.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field. Relevant certifications or vocational training will be an advantage.
• Experience: 3-4 years in facility management with a focus on MEP systems, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems (HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing fixtures, fire protection, etc.). Familiarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS) is a plus.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve MEP system issues efficiently.
• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with teams, management, and vendors.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• Leadership Abilities: Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team effectively.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards for MEP systems.
• Computer Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office, CMMS, and other software used for maintenance and documentation.
• Adaptability: Openness to adopting new technologies and best practices in MEP maintenance and facility management.
