Operations Manager - Joinery Work

The Operations Manager for Joinery Work at our Carpentry Workshop will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of workshop operations. This role requires a strategic leader with deep expertise in wood working and joinery, who can manage daily operations, lead a skilled team, and drive business growth by securing new clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Workshop Management:
Oversee the daily operations of the carpentry workshop, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Coordinate and manage production schedules to meet project deadlines and client requirements.
Monitor quality control processes to ensure all work meets the company’s high standards.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of skilled carpenters and joinery specialists.
Conduct regular training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team.
Resolve any operational or personnel issues promptly to maintain a positive work environment.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities.
Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering projects on time and to specifications.
Financial and Resource Management:
Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations.
Monitor and control inventory, ensuring the availability of materials while minimizing waste.
Implement cost-saving measures without compromising on quality.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure that all operations comply with Qatar labor laws and industry regulations.
Promote and enforce a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 8+ years in wood working and joinery, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Language: Fluent in Arabic.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
Client Relations: Strong client-facing skills with a track record of securing and managing external clients.
Operational Excellence: Demonstrated experience in improving operational efficiency and productivity.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of joinery techniques, materials, and industry trends.
Location: Qatar
