Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare and produce high-quality pastries, cakes, and desserts, including but not limited to Blueberry Cheesecake, Paris Brest, Profiteroles, Tarts, and Tiramisu.
-Develop new dessert ideas and contribute to menu innovation.
-Ensure all products are prepared with consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.
-Oversee the entire baking process, including mixing, baking, cooling, and decorating of pastries.
-Maintain the kitchen's cleanliness and comply with health and safety regulations.
-Manage stock levels for baking ingredients, ensuring efficient use of materials.
-Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely production.
-Adhere to strict quality control measures to ensure that every item meets La Genoise's high standards.
-Help with the training of junior staff or assistants in pastry production.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 year experience
- Residents of Qatar preferred
- Must be fluent in English or Arabic.
